A completed Singapore commercial project using different Semiforêt microcement colour combinations to give the male and female public toilets distinct identities while maintaining one coherent material language.

One shared material language. Two distinct colour identities.
The Design Direction
Colour gives each washroom its own identity while Ivory White keeps the complete project connected.
The project called for a practical public washroom finish with clearer colour identity between the two spaces.
Rather than treating each toilet as an unrelated interior, the palette uses Ivory White as the shared base and introduces one contrasting colour for each zone.
The Colour Strategy
The contrasting colours support atmosphere and spatial recognition without changing the overall material identity.
Blue Grey gives the male toilet a cooler, more architectural character. Lotus Pink brings a softer, warmer tone to the female toilet.
Ivory White connects both spaces and helps the more expressive colours remain visually balanced.

System and Site Considerations
A commercial washroom finish must be planned beyond its visible colour and texture.
Public washrooms require attention to substrate condition, wet-area details, junctions, sanitary fittings, cleaning requirements and expected traffic.
The decorative finish should therefore be specified together with preparation, layered application, protective finishing and curing requirements.
