Semiforêt Microcement
Microcement
Bathrooms
Seamless mineral finishes for bathroom walls, floors and wet areas, combining a calm contemporary appearance with a complete substrate-to-finish application approach.
01 / Definition
A Continuous Surface for the Bathroom
Microcement is a thin decorative surface system that can be applied to suitable bathroom walls and floors to create a visually continuous mineral finish.
In bathrooms, the visible microcement layer is only one part of the complete system. Substrate preparation, wet-area requirements, application and protective finishing must also be considered.
The finished build-up is typically thin, allowing microcement to be considered for selected new-build and renovation applications.
02 / Design Languages
Three Ways to Shape the Atmosphere
Microcement is not defined by one fixed aesthetic. Colour, tonal movement, texture, lighting and surrounding materials can produce very different bathroom environments.
Warm Minimalism
Soft ivory, sand and warm mineral tones create a quiet bathroom with less visual interruption and a softer relationship with timber, stone and warm lighting.
Contemporary Grey
Grey and stone-inspired finishes create a more architectural atmosphere suited to modern fittings, dark hardware and restrained interior palettes.
Wabi-Sabi
Gentle tonal variation and handcrafted surface movement create depth without strong decorative patterns, allowing the material itself to become part of the atmosphere.
