Bathroom Microcement
A completed two-bathroom HDB project in Pasir Ris, Singapore. Semiforêt Wabi Sabi White was applied to selected walls and floors, continuing onto a custom-built bathtub in the master bathroom for a calm, unified mineral finish.
Semiforêt supplied the microcement materials and completed the microcement installation for this project.
Project Overview
One mineral language, carried across two bathrooms and a sculpted bathtub.
The design reduces visual interruption and allows the softly varied Wabi Sabi White finish to connect walls, floors and built-in elements. The result is quieter than conventional tiled bathrooms while retaining the handcrafted depth of microcement.

A more continuous bathroom environment
The homeowners wanted a warm, modern bathroom atmosphere without the visually busy grid of conventional wall and floor tiles.
The Brief
Create a calmer bathroom with a soft mineral texture and fewer visible surface interruptions.
The Approach
Apply Semiforêt microcement across selected wall and floor surfaces so the material reads as one continuous interior language.
The Bathtub
Continue the same finish onto the prepared bathtub structure in the master bathroom, integrating it with the surrounding surfaces.
The Result
Wabi Sabi White brings subtle tonal movement, quiet warmth and a handcrafted mineral character to both bathrooms.
